Where and by whom is The Bool manufactured?

The Bool products are designed and manufactured in the Delta Diffusion studios in Belgium.  These studios have been producing the doomoo and Delta Baby childcare brands for more than 15 years, marketed by Delta Diffusion.

The site doesn’t allow me to combine certain colours. Why not?

The Bool collection allows for the combination of seven cover colours with different zip tones. Our designers advise against certain combinations however which can look great on the screen but then turn out to be disappointing in reality. These less attractive combinations are therefore not available in our collection.

Can I use The Bool outside?

It is not advisable to use The Bool in a wet environment. The materials used are not waterproof.

How do I look after The Bool?

To maintain the comfort of your Bool, we advise a refill of micro-granules every so often. It is normal for the micro-granules to shrink slightly: refills are possible to give your Bool back its inviting shape. Polystyrene micro-granule refills are available on the site (Accessories section).

My Bool has begun to shrink. Is this normal?

Yes.  Regardless of how you use it, the micro-granules in your Bool shrink over time. To maintain the full comfort of your Bool pouf, you simply have to open the inside protective tube and add granules to it. Refills of 20 litres of polystyrene micro-granules are available on this site (Accessories section).

Can I remove the cover of my Bool to wash it?

The cover is completely removable.  The outside cover can be washed in the machine at 40°C.

I would like to buy a cover in another colour for my Bool. Can I buy a cover separately?

Yes. You can view the entire collection of outside covers in the Accessories section of this site to allow you to easily change the look of your Bool or the atmosphere of your room.

What modes of payment are accepted?

You can settle your payment in a completely secure way by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or even by bankcard (Maestro) if you have a card reader or Digipass (Home Banking).

Is the online payment secure?

Yes. All transactions are secure thanks to the payment system Ogone (www.ogone.com). Any information exchanged in dealing with the payment is encrypted thanks to the SSL protocol. This data cannot be detected, intercepted or used by a third party. Nor are the data kept on our computer systems.

How do I return a product if I am not satisfied with my purchase?

You can cancel your order up to 14 days after delivery on the condition that you inform us by letter or email (info@thebool.eu) and that you return your purchase in the same condition as it was sent and in its original package, also in perfect condition. You will then be fully reimbursed within a reasonable time period. You will have to cover the return postage fee.

How do I cancel an order?

You can cancel your order by emailing info@thebool.eu within 48 hours of placing your order.

How am I reimbursed if I cancel or return an order?

You will be fully reimbursed within a reasonable time period if the conditions of cancellation or return are met.

I need an invoice. How do I go about it?

An invoice is automatically sent to the invoicing address.  A non-compulsory field in the purchase order allows you to enter a VAT number.

How will I receive my Bool?

Your Bool will be delivered to the address you entered when you placed your order ("delivery address").  The delivery is carried out by the Belgian transport company, DPD, and its country partners outside of Belgium.

How long will the delivery take?

In Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany and metropolitan France (not including the islands), the majority of Bools are delivered in five to seven working days. Outside of these countries, delivery can take a bit longer. The dispatch and delivery dates given at the time of the order are estimates: we put everything in place to ensure your Bool is delivered as quickly as possible.

What are the delivery charges?

For Belgium delivery is completely free (this does not include the islands where billing is at cost price).

For the other countries, the transportation is billed at cost price.  Please consult the table showing delivery charges per region.

Can I have my Bool delivered to an address other than my own?

You can have The Bool delivered to any address so long as there is somebody there to collect it.  When you are placing your order, indicate your chosen address in the "delivery address" section.

How can I follow the status of an active order?

You will be informed of every step by email from the preparation to the delivery of your Bool: receipt of your order, dispatch and delivery.

What happens if I am absent at the time of the delivery?

The delivery person will leave you a notification slip. It will contain the steps to take to have the item delivered to you at a more suitable time. Please note that after two unsuccessful attempts at delivery, the item will be returned to sender. You will then have to cover the new delivery charge.

How do I change the delivery address if I have already placed an order?

Contact thebool.eu by email no later than 48 hours after you have placed your order: info@thebool.eu.

What countries can I deliver the Bool to?

The Bool can be delivered everywhere. Delivery to Belgium is completely free. Delivery to the other countries and the islands is billed at cost price.

How will I know if my gift has arrived at its destination?

As soon as your order has been delivered to the indicated address, you will be informed by email.

How will the person who receives the gift know who the giver is?

Whether you choose to give a Bool or a gift voucher, you will be asked to give your name.  The gift voucher and the letter accompanying the Bool will clearly indicate: "This gift has been sent to you by XXX".  When placing your order, you also have the possibility to add a more personal message.

I received a gift voucher to the value of a small Bool, but would like a big one. What can I do?

The gift voucher you received allows you to choose the Bool in the colours of your choice in the size indicated (small, medium or large). If you would like to choose a Bool of a different size, contact us by email and we will explain the different options to you.

Do you publish every photo?

We reserve the right to not publish photos that contravene security or the respect of individuals. The photos must feature The Bool product prominently.

Who markets The Bool?

The Bool is a product of the company under Belgian law, Doomoo Design, which grew out of the Belgian company Delta Diffusion.

Who manages the website?

The website thebool.eu is the property of the company Doomoo Design. This company grew out of the Belgian company Delta Diffusion which has created and marketed the childcare brands doomoo and Delta Baby since 1995.
